For passing steel, cast iron, copper or plastic pipes through walls, ceilings or floors, embedment parts are the best method for forming a perfect hole in the wall.
Advantages:
- An economical method of hydrostatic sealing
- The embedment part is an essential element wherever the modular Link-Seal® sealing ring is used to seal the circular space between the carrier pipe and the wall opening
Types of embedment parts
Metal embedment parts
These embedment parts are made of longitudinally welded or seamless steel pipes. They can be supplied in galvanized or plain carbon steel for corrosion protection, or in stainless steel. Other corrosion protection methods are available upon request (e.g. epoxy resins, primers).
The standard metal version is supplied with a welded anchor and embedment flange. This acts as a water barrier, ensuring 100% tightness between the concrete and the piece, while serving as a mechanical anchor.
The diameters of metal embedment parts are selected to match the corresponding pipe and the Link-Seal® modular sealing system.
Fiber-reinforced cement embedment parts, asbestos-free
An economical and safe method of hydrostatic sealing. Fiber-reinforced cement embedment parts used together with Link-Seal® or Compact sealing rings are the proper accessories for forming a perfect opening when a steel, cast iron, copper or plastic pipe penetrates walls, ceilings or floors.
The embedment parts can be installed in reinforcement and poured together with concrete, or installed later in pre-cut openings and sealed with grout. The exterior grooves ensure a waterproof bond with the concrete.
Fiber-reinforced cement consisting of cement and light-grey fiberglass. Material class A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1.
MFPA-Leipzig certified up to 5 bar
PVC embedment parts
PVC wall sleeves are suitable both for embedding in concrete or for installation in masonry. They are supplied in a standard working length of 400 mm and can be adjusted to wall thickness using a saw.

Installation instructions: Fiber-reinforced cement embedment part, closed version
Aligned with the protection pipe or with its support.
Embedment part fixed in the wall using special supports.
Fixing the embedment part in reinforcement using clamps (on-site clamps)
Positioning in floor or ceiling
Positioning in wall
