These tanks are manufactured from galvanized rolled sheets in accordance with BS EN 10204 or steel panels in accordance with BS EN 10025, which are subsequently hot-dip galvanized in accordance with BS EN 1460:1999.

Construction of Metal Tanks

All panels and components are manufactured on production lines so that their assembly is as easy as possible. The tanks can therefore be delivered to hard-to-access locations and assembled in working conditions that would make it impossible to build concrete tanks or welded structures. The assembly teams are specially trained to work with specific equipment, regardless of panel shape, flat or profiled. The performance of a tank depends not only on the quality of its components, but also on the quality of assembly and the provision of optimal service throughout its operation.

Types of metal tanks

Flat bolted panels (Aquastore®, HydroTec® TS, PetroTec® TS range)

This type of joint is the most widespread solution for tanks with demountable connections
It is assembled and can be commissioned up to three times faster than welded or cast-in-place concrete tanks
They can be configured to store volumes of more than 22,000 m³

Beaded bolted panels (HydroTec® CS, PetroTec® CS range)

Economical
Beading of the horizontal edges increases structural strength
A special range of rubber gaskets ensures joint tightness
The only model certified to API-12B for the oil industry

Factory-welded tanks (HydroTec® welded, PetroTec® welded range)

Available diameters are from 1.8 m to 4.6 m
They are delivered as a single piece or multiple sections to be assembled on site
They can be requested and delivered with a variety of interior or exterior anticorrosive protection systems
They are designed and manufactured to order and the production process is fast
